Joel Soriano parts ways with Valencia Basket

Joel Soriano has parted ways with Valencia Basket following the conclusion of his contract with the club. The American-Dominican center—who represents the Dominican Republic internationally—joined the team in May 2025 to bolster the frontcourt during the final stretch of the season, helping the squad reach the Liga Endesa finals.

As a Valencia Basket player, Soriano appeared in eight Liga Endesa games, averaging 5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1 block, with a performance rating of 6.8. He began the season on loan at Casademont Zaragoza, playing 16 ACB games (averaging 7.6 points and 3.4 rebounds for a 6.9 rating) and nine FIBA Europe Cup games (averaging 6.7 points and 3.1 rebounds for a 5.9 rating).

He finished the season on loan at ratiopharm Ulm, where he played 16 games, averaging 9.3 points and an 11.1 performance rating.
